A Bit About Me…

My name is Chris Morrison, and I am an independant breeder of king and corn snakes. I live in the High Desert of California, at the base of the Eastern Slope of the Sierra Nevada Mountains. I am surrounded by some of the most beautiful scenery in the continental United States, and some of the best snake habitat imaginable.
I have always been fascinated by snakes. They intrigue me, and I want to learn as much as I can about all of them. Aside from breeding captive snakes, I also thoroughly enjoy going out and finding them in the wild. Nothing gets the heartrate going better than dealing with wild snakes on their terms.
The breeding aspect of snake husbandry is simply fascinating as well. The genetic combinations and potential in king and cornsnake morphs is limitless. As well, I thoroughly enjoy locality animals, particularly greyband kings and “brooksi” phase Florida kings. My goal, as a breeder, is to develope quality genetic morphs and pure-line locality animals. By carefully selecting quality genetic stock, and strong, unrelated locality animals to start with, I hope to create visually stunning morphs in the cornsnake world, and pure locality kingsnakes that positively exemplify the looks of their wild relatives.
I am only a small time breeder right now. But as I increase my stock, I hope to manage my animals in such a way as to promote honor, integrity, and good business in the Snake Community. If you decide to purchase an animal from me, you can rest assured that you are recieving the highest quality animals, at the best market prices.
So Welcome to my World. Enjoy the pictures and information available, and feel free to drop me line! I’m always happy to talk snakes!
